Ooooh! Greetings friends. When I first started out in Dreams I would always look at the "persist in dreams" button on the variables but I was too scared to use it. Nowadays I use it all the time! However, it does involve a few steps to get a regular old variable to become a working variable in your Dream. So, I thought it was time to address the question "how do you make variables persist in Dreams/how do you make Global variables in Dreams?". Sometimes, it's easier to see it in action than to read how to do it, so I decided to make this simple beginner friendly video. With this video you will be able to have one variable (and it's value) being saved and consistent even when you move from one scene to the next. That's right, it works with multiple scenes!

Just one caveat that this video assumes you now what variables are, (basically they are just numerical values that you can use in various ways!). Variables (and variable modifiers, which can increase/decrease/get/set your variables) can be found in the logic and processing side of the tools bar on the far right.
