Are you preparing for an online interview at Oxford University?

All interviews will happen over Microsoft Teams for 2023-entry.

This video is for anyone preparing for an interview in any one of the following Tier 3 subjects:
Chemistry, Computer Science, Computer Science and Philosophy, Earth Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics, Mathematics and Computer Science, Mathematics and Philosophy, Mathematics and Statistics, Physics, Physics and Philosophy.

If you’ve applied for a Tier 3 subject, you will need a computer for video conferencing using Microsoft Teams. You will also need some additional technology, including a touchscreen device and basic universal stylus so that you can access and write on a Miro whiteboard.

Keep in mind - the touchscreen should be at least 8 inches in size, so a mobile phone will probably not be suitable.

We don’t expect you or your school to buy a touchscreen device so that you can participate in your Oxford interviews. Where necessary, for tier 3 subjects and where there are more technology requirements, colleges will discuss arrangements with schools and applicants in order to find a practical solution for everyone involved.
