Food is a human right, and it depends on plant health

Food is a basic human right. However, 690 million people still suffer from chronic hunger. Our challenge is to ensure the right to food for everyone, everywhere. And plants are part of the solution.
But plant health is increasingly at risk. Every year up to 40% of global food crops are lost due to plant pests.
Governments and stakeholders can take action to empower the most vulnerable and protect plant health.
