The meeting was held at a restaurant in the capital Madrid on Thursday night at the initiative of Spain Bangla Press Club.

Sahadul Suhed, President of Spain Bangla Press Club presided over the function. Directed by Member Kabir Al Mahmoud. Siddiqur Rahman, a member of Spain Bangla Press Club, gave a welcome address at the meeting.

President of Bangladesh Mosque Management Committee Md. Khorshed Alam Majumder, Former President of Bangladesh Association in Spain Al Mamun, Acting President Alamin Mia, General Secretary Kamruzzaman Sundar, Md. Dulal Safa, HM Dabir Talukder, Bikrampur Munshiganj Samiti Spain Former President Golam Mostafa Jahangir, current President Mahbubur Rahman Jhantu, General Secretary Russell Dewan, General Secretary of Dhaka District Association in Spain MH Masudur Rahman, Joint General Secretary of Spain Awami League Zahidur Rahman Didar, Community leaders Abdul Qayyum Masuk, Emdadul Haque, journalist AKM Zahirul Islam, Fakruddin Razi, international affairs secretary of Narsingdi Welfare Society Yasin Sikder, director of the voluntary organization Alok Kunj Hanif Miaji and others was present among the prominent people of the community at that time.

The speakers called upon the journalists to play their role in the development of the expatriate community as well as to increase the prestige of the country.

After the exchange of views, the leaders of Spain Bangla Press Club Madrid community greeted the journalist Jamir Hossain with flowers.
