Cozad Fire Dept. Donations to The Nebraska Medical Center

Members of the Cozad, Nebraska fire and rescue department drove 230 miles across the state to donate 14 shiny new Radio Flyer wagons to the pediatrics program at The Nebraska Medical Center. They also donated $4,000 toward a new portable entertainment system young patients will be able to use.
As soon as the firefighters dropped off the wagons, transplant patients Michael and Danny put them to use. With firefighters pulling them, the two boys raced through an open area in the hospital lobby.
The wagons aren't just for fun. Judy Thomas, manager of pediatrics at the med center says they'll be very important way for kids to get out of their hospital rooms.
