Prof. Lawoti is a Professor of Political Science at Western Michigan University, where he specializes in democratization, political institutions, and ethnic politics in South Asia. He has written widely on inclusive democracy, federalism, and the structural roots of exclusion in Nepal. His work has not only shaped academic thinking but also contributed to real-world political discourse in the region.
