Arts and Culture Festival, is an international event founded by Qaisra Shahraz, a British-Pakistani novelist and scriptwriter. The festival aims to bring together Muslim and non-Muslim communities to promote social inclusion and overcome barriers. It features a diverse range of activities, including art exhibitions, cultural performances, and educational workshops, celebrating the rich heritage of Muslim communities.

Qaisra Shahraz is a critically acclaimed author and peace and gender activist. She has written several novels, including "The Holy Woman" (2001), "Typhoon" (2007), and "Revolt" (2013), which explore themes such as women's rights, cultural identity, and social justice. Her work has been translated into multiple languages and is studied in universities and schools worldwide.

In recognition of her contributions to literature and cultural understanding, Shahraz was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2020 Birthday Honours for services to gender equality and cultural learning.

Through MACFEST and her literary works, Qaisra Shahraz continues to foster intercultural dialogue and promote a deeper understanding of Muslim cultures globally.
