Sunbeam Alpine: Owners helping each other

Sunbeam Alpine owners have long had a reputation for helping each other whenever there are problems. Distress Line formalised this process. If you have an Alpine (or any classic car) you would be well advised to join the Sunbeam Alpine Owner's Club (SAOC) and register for Distress Line if you have not already done so. This video features a couple of examples of Alpine Owners helping each other. On one occasion replacing a broken valve spring at the roadside WITHOUT REMOVING THE CYLINDER HEAD and on another repairing and replacing a broken differential in a field with nothing but hand tools.
