I wanted to make the best wheel offset video so that wheel offset is easy to understand with simple graphics and explanations.

There are quite a few videos that are confusing, but this one is super clear. I show how it works with specific examples on my Nissan 240SX comparing an Enkei RPF1 17x9 +22 to a Work Emotion XD9 18x9 +30. I test fit each wheel and explain the differences and show you how you can figure out what works for your car.

Wheel offset is simply the distance the mounting surface (pad) is from the centerline of the wheel. ET is also used to describe offset. It's a German word "Einpresstiefe" which means 'insertion depth'. ET30 is the same as ET+30. You might see 18x9 ET30.
