The first free flight of the AX-5 42k Cloudhopper. Made entirely of 1.3 Soar Coat, and a Lindstrand Series 1 lower end. Took off on one side of Frederick Municipal Airport and spent 45 minutes working the winds around the airport in my own little box. This system is going to keep getting a few modifications and then possibly be taken through certification as an XLTA, but for now it is flown as an Ultralight.
