The Sooners sent out offers to 15 safeties, but Hill remains atop the wish list. The No. 27 overall player in the 247Sports composite ranking is the best player in Oklahoma and an elite prospect at a position of need.

5-star T Kenyon Green

Oklahoma is in the mix for the No. 1 player in Texas, according to the 247Sports composite ranking and the top tackle on the Sooners’ board. Green came up to Norman for Oklahoma’s junior day and seems likely to return this spring.

4-star WR Theo Wease

The top receiver on Oklahoma’s 2019 wish list is also the one in the Sooners’ top five that it should feel best about. The No. 30 player in the 247Sports composite ranking has been a constant presence in Norman the since the beginning of last season.

5-star CB Chris Steele

The Sooners always seem to grab at least one elite player out of California. Steele, the No. 29 player in the country, is 2019’s top target.

4-star CB Erick Young

The top cornerback in Texas and No. 97 player in the country. He has elite size for the position (6-foot-1, 195 pounds) and could offer tremendous versatility to any secondary.
