Three-quarters of a century ago, The New York Times asked the vice president of the United States to write an article about whether there were fascists in America – and, if so, what they were up to. That vice president, in the administration of Franklin D. Roosevelt, was Henry A. Wallace. Bob’s guest is the grandson of that vice president. He’s Henry Scott Wallace – a lawyer; co-chairman of the Wallace Global Fund, which was founded by his grandfather; and a longtime champion of democracy both here and abroad.
