Important things to consider for Jordan.

1. Visa for Indian passport holders.

2. What's the Jordan Pass?
A pass that covers visa fees (provided you staying more than 4 days) and entrance fees for access to 40+ sites.

3. Do I need a Jordan Pass even if im doing one or two sites?
Visa is 40JD + even if you visit only Petra (it's 50 JD) so better to take a jordan pass that costs 70JD.

4. Which currency is accepted?
USD/ EUR can be easily converted. Jordanian dinar is the official currency

1 Jordanian Dinar = AED 5.14 or INR 107

5. What is the covid regulation?
Take PCR test (less than 72 hrs before)

If you aren't vaccinated or partially vaccinated then you need to take an on arrival PCR test (JD 28 dinars)

At airport, you have Orange and Zain operators. It costed us 14JD for 8GB data

8. Where can I rent a car?
Either inside Amman City or if you are planning to drive directly to other sites then at Queen Alia Airport. There is Dollar, Thrifty, Sixt, Avis, Enterprise, Europcar
