I believe that humanely killing animals for meat and for conservation is part of life but now we have too many fools who play the conservation card. Most if not all trophy hunting is a savage and abhorrent act. Circumstances should not alter principle and it is unprincipled to run off to Africa to kill for fun and claim you just want to help. The justification that money spent helps the economies where the animals are hunted and there is fresh meat provided to locals who need it, is a lot of hogwash. When the truth is that these are people who relish violence against and power over great creatures. These men are not burning with desire to help tribes and animals. They are burning with the desire to kill something big and mount it on their walls. This is machismo not nobility.
Ted Nugent may talk a good game on many conservative subjects but I think he is an over"kill" kind of guy and this Walter Palmer fan the flames of those activists who would see mans most basic rights abolished.
