The hero of the movie is a Polish missionary and scientist in one -- Piotr Nawrot. He found his destination in Bolivia. He helps to preserve the music tradition of Indians that lasts 300 years and which is a connection of belief and art in distant jungle. He is not only a discoverer of one of the most precious collection of the American baroque notes that he also personally reconstructed during twenty years. Having a strong belief that the music is the most beautiful kind of prayer, he travels from one Indian village to another and rehearse with musically talented young people, preaches and cultivates ancient Indian talents and faith of Guarajos, Chiquitos, czy Mochos. "There are -- Piotr Nawrot says -- places where 600 of 2000 people can read notes!" We meet the Polish missionary in such a village. He visits his pupils. We can hear the sound of viola and violin instead of disco polo from poor huts.
