I took up the PADI OPEN WATER Scuba Diving Course in the crystal clear waters of Andaman- one of the best diving destinations in all of India! This course certifies you to dive anywhere in the world upto 18m with a buddy and goes on for 4 days. 🏝️⛵️🐙🐳

In this video, I share my first-hand experience- right from learning about the equipment and the essential skills required to become a diver during the confined water training sessions, to the mesmerising open water dives. I have also shared valuable information about the entire certification process for those of you who are planning to pursue this course. 🌊🌀

While we are busy exploring land, we forget that 70% of our planet is water 🌎 and an entire world of its own exists therein- A world that is made accessible to us adventure seekers in the form of scuba diving. While most adventure sports fill you with adrenaline and are action-packed - I was surprised by how calm and peaceful scuba diving is for an adventure activity. Sure it does bring an element of thrill with it, but mostly it just soothes you in so many ways. Never have I ever felt so completely present in one moment, so focused on the sound of my own breath and the bubbles, so aware of each movement. Time simply stood still as I admired the beauty of the underwater landscapes and the coral reefs filled with hundreds of colourful fish! 🐠🐡🐬

The journey from not being comfortable to breathe underwater to swimming like just another fish in the open sea has been nothing short of incredible and I can't wait to share this journey with you. I hope that you too someday will embark upon your own underwater adventure to experience the magic of the underwater world. 🧜‍♀️💙✨
