Living on a Farm in Florida | Organic Farming and Seasonal Healthy Eating

Experience the Florida farming life through this video tour of my farm stay living and working on Common Ground Farms! Through the WWOOF program, I was able to learn about growing organic food in the east coast state’s tropical climate. All the while, I’ll share plenty of seasonal food ideas and inspiration for healthy eating straight from the fields!
I’ll teach you about the gardening practices and seasonal veggies unique to this region and season while taking you along for the harvesting, planting, and cooking of local fresh vegetables.
It always does wonders for both my physical and mental health to get fresh food on the road and stick my hands in the dirt while traveling in my van. It’s amazing to get my fix of homegrown produce and garden goodness no matter how far I may travel from the familiar beds of my community gardens back home in the west.
