2022 was a challenging season for the All Blacks, recording losses to Ireland, South Africa and Argentina, while having close contests with Australia, Japan, England and Scotland.

They fell to a record low world ranking, while slowly damaging the 'aura' that the All Blacks have built over many, many years.

With Rugby World Cup 2023 around the corner, analysing the range of factors impacting the All Blacks and participation in New Zealand Rugby will hopefully provide viewers with more clarity on the situation unfolding.

Fortunately, issues impacting on New Zealand Rugby are similar to other top-tier countries: participation rates, grassroots rugby, coaching confidence and players being signed to overseas competitions.
