The Treasury is Petra's most famous structure.
Petra is a World Heritage Site, in the country of Jordan, carved out of the sand-stone mountains in Wadi Araba. It was established over 2000 years ago and was the capital of the Nabataeans.

The medium resolution 3D Laser-scan Model (mesh) shows the famous "Treasury" which is situated on the end of the Siq.

This 3D Model was produced by the Zamani Project (University of Cape Town) as part of the "African Cultural Heritage Sites and landscapes" documentation project. It is derived from high-resolution terrestrial laser-scan data and represents the site as is with cm accuracy and without any augmentation. For presentation purposes a medium-resolution model was used in this video.
