On April 19 to 23, 2021, the Ateneo School of Government, under the Access to Sustainable Energy Programme-Clean Energy Living Laboratories (ASEP-CELLs) and in partnership with the Department of Energy and Local Government Academy, conducted an online training course titled “Energy Policy Development: Energizing Champions for Clean, Green, Secure and Sustainable Energy Source for Local Governments”.

The training was attended by 45 participants from different local government units (LGUs) and other government agencies all over the country. Featuring leaders and experts from the energy sector and policy development, the training focused on capacitating the participants with the skills, knowledge, and abilities leading to the formulation, development, and analysis of local energy policies that are essential to institutionalize their local energy efficiency and conservation plans (LEECPs).
