The setting Sun bathes Victorian-era homes with golden rays, reminding inhabitants of the warmth still to come, but not all that quickly. Victorian 19th century was Northport's heyday, as it was once a renowned center for wooden ship-building. Hints of the approaching Summer season are ever-present, with bold colors occasionally breaking the dreary gray backdrops of Winter.
