Santa Maria Valley 205 | Riding the Santiam Excursion Train

Описание к видео Santa Maria Valley 205 | Riding the Santiam Excursion Train

Come along as we take a springtime ride on the Santiam Excursion Train on the Albany & Eastern Railroad, with Santa Maria Valley 2-6-2 steam locomotive #205. We start at the historic train station in Lebanon, OR, originally built in 1908 by the Southern Pacific. We then travel south out of town, weaving through neighborhoods and whistling for numerous road crossings along the way. After passing Cheadle Lake, we parallel HWY 20 and climb Waterloo Hill before arriving at a siding adjacent to a Weyerhauser lumber facility. Here, the 205 runs around the train and couples onto the rear to pull us tender-first back to Lebanon.

NOTE: This video was a test of my new camera setup, so I apologize for some of the video settings and the "buzzy-ness" of some of the audio. I hope to get the settings more dialed in for future projects.
