Me hiking with Isak, guided by our IFS colleagues from the Kandy office, Manulak and Amal. 10km for 7,5 hours in partly uncharted terrain, crawling and hacking through the bushes with a machete, fighting leaches and razorsharp grass. Thanks to Sampath we got a ride to and from the site, and the right equipment for the hike; machete, yellow balm and salted water for fighting the leaches.
