This piece is a stupid one, but it's built on a feeling: the feeling of it being the end. The feeling
of being in the finale, and now you’re just cheering and laughing and it’s all over soon but
not yet and you have a rare few moments to capture it and take it all in. The feeling of llooking around at these faces, some of whom you may not dance with again, may not see
again, may not as easily share jokes with again — and knowing it’s the last time. Dance soc
has its ups and downs, but over the last few years it’s given me that feeling multiple times.
And so this piece, in all of its unseriousness, is just my tribute to all of the amazing dancers I
have shared a stage with, and to say a reluctant goodbye to my home of three years.
