1953 Allis Chalmers B Engine Disassembly & Inspection Part 1 of 2

Описание к видео 1953 Allis Chalmers B Engine Disassembly & Inspection Part 1 of 2

Tear down and visual inspection of the Engine from a 1953 Allis Chalmers tractor I am restoring. This video is part 1 and includes removing the Clutch, Flywheel, Rear Seal Cover, Manifolds, Rocker Shaft, and Cyl Head.

These videos are boring as hell, If you are following this build and got this far you are really into Allis Chalmes B models.

This tractor was purchased by my father in the early 80s. I grew up on this tractor working on 12 acres, mostly mowing but occasionally other projects. It was also the first vehicle I ever drove with a clutch and more than one cylinder. It has been sitting under a tin roof under the shade of oak trees since the mid 90s. (Ran When Parked) In north central Florida this is not a good thing. Thanks to cool nights and humid days with no sun on the tractor the iron would cool overnight and then moisture condensate on it with no way to dry until late in the day. This thing seemed like it was always wet. I bought a parts tractor that has been out in the weather all that time with much less rust but due to sentimental value I want to primarily use parts off this tractor where I can even if it involves more work.
