Something known as "Poor Man's Pate" is the star of a festival in Marion.   The 6th Annual Liver Mush Festival is taking over Downtown tonight.The mix of pig liver, head parts, corn meal and seasoning has become a fan favorite among people in Western North Carolina.It is believed that families came up with the recipe during the Civil War when they couldn't afford to waset anything.Freddie Killough with the Marion Economic Development Office shared some Liver Mush with News 13's Victoria Dunkle live this morning.   You can try it for yourself and enjoy the entertainment and contests at the Liver Mush Festival.  It is from 6:30 - 9:00 P.M. in Marion Tonight (June 1).  by Victoria Dunkle\n\nwww.wlos.com
