TUI Airways Boeing 737-800 | London Luton to Lanzarote, ACE

It's Summer time in the UK which means vacation time. This year I've chosen to spend a couple days break on the volcanic island of Lanzarote in the Canaries. Somewhere I've been once before, but a very nice place to visit

We start the trip on a TUI 737, parked on a remote stand at Luton Airport. Once boarded we pushed back and headed out on Runway 25, flying around London airspace before heading south towards Lanzarote. Not too much to see on the way apart from some brief views of northern Spain and Lisbon. Sadly it was quite cloudy when landing in Lanzarote, and annoyingly the weather had cleared up not too long after we had arrived. We had a fairly windy approach over the sea before making a firm landing on Runway 03

Overall a good trip, I must say the TUI 737-800 does feel quite outdated. They still have the drop down screens onboard showing you the routing etc, and the seats are quite aged too in my opinion. But nevertheless it was a decent flight and the crew were great too!
