Due to the easing of the new coronavirus's border measures, foreign visitors are returning to the prefecture's ski resorts for the first time in about three years this winter.
In Myoko City, foreign owners bought and renovated lodges that had closed down, targeting foreign guests.
We interviewed foreign owners who are struggling to open and local issues.
