Mercedes-Benz | Blower Motor Repair W212 W204 X204

How to (Repair) interior blower motor for Mercedes-Benz W212 and more models. Read on forums and some of my subscribers say it’s possible to repair blower motor that’s doing squeaky sound. It’s the bearing inside the fan that’s goes bad. This may only work for few months before you have to remove it again and lubricate the bearing.

I did change the whole unit (   • Mercedes W212 | Remove/Install AC Blo...  ) That’s why cables are clipped not going to reuse this fan only to show in this video how you could try to fix yours. Not sure if it’s possible to change the bearing think it’s press fitted parts.

Seems that this its really common problem with W212 models, hopefully they had some improvements with the new units. This car had around 190.000 kilometers when this unit needed to be replaced. How about ours?
