Bona Drifast Stain Application Process :

Before polishing make sure the floor is properly sanded and cleaned

➢Machine application
Step 1. Stir the stain well, before and during use
Step 2. Apply a thin even layer of DriFast Stain using a cotton cloth. Distribute to max. 10 Sq.ft at a time. Apply stain at the room edges by using an cloth or brush. Avoid applying excessive amounts of stain. Wipe excess stain off in the direction of the grain by using a cotton cloth.
Step 3. Wrap a Bona stain cloth around a red pad and place under a low speed buffing machine. Buff the floor within 3 minutes after application. The cloth will remove excess and this can then be taken to other unstained areas of the floor.
Step 4. Complete the remaining floor in the same manner. It is advisable to wear protective ‘shoe cover’ while doing this.

➢Hand application
Step 1. Stir the stain well, before and during use
Step 2. Apply a thin even layer of DriFast Stain in the direction of the grain by using a cotton cloth.
Step 3.Allow a short time for penetration into the timber.
Step 4. Wipe off excess material within 2- 3 minutes using a soft cloth or similar. Allow the floor to dry for 2-4 hours.

Now the floor is ready for polishing ( Top Coat )
