How does your law firm's pipeline look right now?

Are you able to strategically review your firm's past performance to pull reliable info about its future? Or are you just hoping more clients walk through the door this month than last month?

One of the topics I discuss most, whether on social or in conversations with clients, is how lawyers must run their firms more like a business. That has never been more important than now.

March may have been a decent month for your firm, but it definitely won't be an accurate indicator of how the new economic climate will impact your firm.

As lawyers, we must treat our firms like any other business. We need to consistently review our numbers to gauge where we are - and where we need to be - each month.

Part of this strategic analysis is identifying what efforts or activities you've made in the past that resulted in more business. Once you've found them - copy and paste.

Replicate those efforts as often as possible to continue building pipeline and future revenue to help offset any shortfalls caused by the current environment.
