THE ROPE OF HOPE — Narration Script
There once was a mountain climber, who dreamed of conquering the highest peak in the world.
He prepared for years, Trained his body, Strengthened his mind.
But deep inside, he wanted the glory for himself.
So…he chose to climb alone.

He began his journey early in the day,
moving higher and higher with determination.
As evening approached, instead of stopping to set up his tent,
he pushed forward.
Driven by pride. Driven by ambition.
Soon…darkness fell.
________________________________________
The night on the mountain was unforgiving.
Thick clouds swallowed the moon and the stars.
Visibility dropped to zero.
Everything was black.
Cold.
Silent.
Terrifying.
________________________________________
Just a few feet away from the summit,
the climber slipped.
And suddenly…he was falling
Faster and faster
Surrounded by darkness, with nothing to see but fear itself
In those terrifying moments, his entire life flashed before his eyes—
the good…and the bad

Then…the fall stopped
A sharp jerk pulled at his waist
The rope.
It was holding him.
His body hung in the air,
suspended between life and death.
Alone. Helpless.
And in that stillness, with nowhere else to turn,
he screamed: “HELP ME, GOD!”

A moment passed.
Then a deep, calm voice echoed from above:
“What do you want me to do?”
The climber cried out, “Save me, God!”
The voice replied, “Do you truly believe I can save you?”
With desperation, the man answered,
“Yes, Lord. I believe.”

Then the voice said:
“CUT THE ROPE TIED TO YOUR WAIST.”
Silence. Fear. Doubt.
The climber tightened his grip…and chose to hold on.

The next morning, a rescue team found his body.
Frozen. Hanging from the rope.
His hands still clutching it tightly.
He was only…
FIVE FEET AWAY FROM THE GROUND !

And now, the question is for us.
How tightly are we holding onto our rope?
And when faith demands a difficult decision…
what will we choose?

Never doubt the plans of God.
Never believe that He has forgotten you or abandoned you.
Even when you cannot see the ground beneath you,
remember…
He is still holding you.
