Horror Vacui - Consolation Prize (unofficial video)

For their fourth LP, "Living For Nothing", the Italian vampires Horror Vacui have stripped away some of the bluster and reverb, yielding a powerful goth-punk record. The band act putting melody and message up front right from the start. “Consolation Prize” song gallops forward with a combination of rage and riotous freedom in its anti-religious lyrics. This 2020 opus has been recorded in a studio based in Bologna, a new experience they wanted to try, working on a slightly different sound, clearer and somehow less rough if compared to their previous albums. Probably the climax of their creative path so far.
