Former Queensland premier Steven Miles has received backlash over his speech after he refused to concede following Saturday’s election loss.

Former Queensland premier Campbell Newman joined Sky News host Steve Price to discuss the Liberal National Party of Queensland’s win on Saturday.

“It was a shocker of a concession speech, not that we heard much concession,” Mr Newman said.

“But a very solid result for David Crisafulli and the LNP, a very good working majority.”
