AP Government Announces ₹50,000 Per Hectare Aid for Onion Farmers

Description: The Andhra Pradesh government has announced a major relief package for onion farmers in the state. State Agriculture Minister Achchan Naidu stated that the government has decided to provide a financial aid of ₹50,000 per hectare to onion farmers. He said the government stands with the farmers and has purchased 1.39 lakh quintals of onions so far. The government has also provided support to farmers of mango, tobacco, cocoa, tomatoes, and coffee to protect them from financial losses.
