Cheap eats in Las Vegas are becoming elusive, so I hunted down 22 cheap meals on Fremont Street to help you stretch your budget.

My rundown of inexpensive food in Downtown Las Vegas is pretty diverse and includes tacos, burger baskets, Thai stir-fry, the best pizza by the slice in Vegas, fried shrimp, and even a Chinese combo meal. It's safe to say that there will be a cheap food option that appeals to you.

Among the best cheap eats downtown were the tacos at Plaza's Fresh Mexican Grill, pizza at both Pizza Rock and Evel Pie, a burger & fries at 4 Queens Magnolia's Veranda, a chili dog at Dirt Dog, and a fried shrimp basket at Hot N Juicy Crawfish.
