I wrote my first book. Wow! I've done my own take on NaNoWriMo and I completed this goal of mine in 18 hours. Writing a novel has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

For two years I’ve wanted to try and write a novel in 30 days and yet there’s always been a voice in my head dismissing the idea as unrealistic.

But here’s the thing: this year I took the leap of faith and I actually did it. I’ve just completed the first draft of my book and it wasn’t about rushing or burning out.

Today, I’ll share how I structured my writing schedule, kept my creativity alive, and managed to stay somewhat balanced—all while meeting that ambitious goal.
