This is a short video showing an automated process that feeds algae to aquaponic jade perch. The algae is produced in a separate tank from the sun (for free) and flows into the jade perch fish tank via a flexible pipe. The pipe joins the algae tank and fish tank together at their bases.

There is only 1 pump in this process. It lives in the fish tank and pumps water out of the fish tank, via some grow beds, to the algae tank. This algae tank is then returning water back to the fish tank via the flexible hose. This constant (automatic) return flow from the algae tank to the fish tank, takes chunks of algae with it, straight to the fish.

This system produces algae (free fish food) and automatically feeds it into the fish tank.
