All schools and colleges in flood-hit Hyderabad will remain closed on Monday and the traffic police have urged IT companies to allow their employees to work from home following a red alert for extremely heavy rain in the city and other parts of Telangana.

Hyderabad District Collector Anudeep Durishetty has directed officials to keep people living in low-lying areas alert and to shift them to relief camps.
