On September 3, 2018, during my *2nd Year, 1st Semester (BSc)*, I completed my first project with *Arduino and the MPU-6050 module*—a combination of a *3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis accelerometer*. In this video, I demonstrate how I used the MPU-6050 to detect different hand movements and control LEDs based on those gestures.

Here’s a summary of the project:
Motion Detection with MPU-6050: By reading motion data from the MPU-6050, I assigned specific *LEDs to different hand movements*. Each gesture activated a different LED, adding a hands-free, interactive element.
Learning Sensor Calibration and Data Reading: This experiment introduced me to sensor calibration and the process of reading data directly from the sensor’s registers using *Arduino libraries*.

This project was my first hands-on experience with motion sensors and taught me the basics of reading sensor data and interpreting it for real-world applications.
