제20회 WASBE 세계관악컨퍼런스 경기광주 2024의 축제 일환으로 광주시청 다목적광장에서 제주학생연합 윈드오케스트라(Jeju Students Union Wind Orchestra) 프린지 공연이 개최되었습니다.

제주학생연합윈드오케스트라는 제주도내 중,고등학교에 재학 중인 학생들로 구성된 연합윈드오케스트라이다. 학생들에게 문화적 자긍심을 고취시키고 제주 예술교육의 우수성을 알리며 지역문화예술 발전에 기여하고자 2019년에 창단되었다. 현재 20개 학교가 참여한 가운데 70여명의 학생들이 단원으로 활동하며 학교 오케스트라 교육 활성화에 기여함과 동시에 [관악의 섬, 제주]의 기반을 다지고 있다.

The Jeju Student Union Wind Orchestra is a wind orchestra composed of students enrolled in middle and high schools in Jeju Island. It was founded in 2019 to inspire cultural pride in students, promote the excellence of Jeju's arts education, and contribute to the development of local culture and arts. Currently, 20 schools are participating in the orchestra and 70 students are active as members, contributing to the revitalization of school orchestra education and laying the foundation for Jeju, the island of wind music.
