Deoria Tal in Uttarakhand is a beautiful trek.
Deoria Lake is situated at about 8000ft. Deoria Tal is located near Ukhimath in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. This trek starts from a small village Sari. There is a big gate of Deoria Tal Trek on the side of the main road in Sari village. Deoria Tal is a small trek which is a total of 6 kms. While going on this trek, you see a beautiful temple called Omkar Ratneshwar Temple, this temple is dedicated to Nag Devta.
The biggest specialty of Deoria Tal is lush greenery and towering Himalayan peaks visible from here. The main peaks visible from here. You can see breathtaking views of Chaukhamba, Kedarnath, Satopanth, Thalay Sagar etc. You can see a veru wide range of Himalayan peaks from this place.
I had been to Deoria Tal before but I had heard a lot about the unique beauty of this lake in winters so l wanted to visit it in winters also. The beauty of this lake looked different in winter, sitting on the banks of this lake and seeing the magical views around it was a special meditation.
