Welcome to Lexington Cemetery in Lexington, Kentucky. This is one of the biggest and most historic cemeteries in Kentucky and today, we are here to visit the massive tomb and final resting place of a man who helped shape America. This was Henry Clay. Henry Clay was born in Virginia in 1777 and became a State Rep for Kentucky, Speaker of the House, Secretary of State, and ran for President 3 times unsuccessfully. He was the first person to lie in state in the US Capitol rotunda and was one of the most influential and powerful men in his era.

This is a smaller clip of a more detailed video I did from Lexington Cemetery a couple years back, but Henry Clay deserved a little more detail on his life.
