Easiest Moto-Vlogging Setup | DJI Osmo Action 4 + DJI Mic 2

One thing that drove me nuts with previous setups is having to use a 3.5mm microphone adapter and a lav mic, most of them have super long cables so you would have to coil and tie them up or eventually I just switched to a replacement gaming headset mic of lesser quality.

Fast forward to present and now we have a completely wireless option thanks to the DJI Mic 2 and Osmo Action 4. You are able to pair the Mic 2 via bluetooth and have full access to all of the Mic 2’s settings and the ability to use Quick Capture as well.

This setup may not be for everyone but with how much audio I have lost in the past so far this has been an extremely reliable setup with the only issue I have found to be a slight delay when using quick capture.

What makes up for that and why I am able to tolerate it is because the DJI Osmo Action 4 records fantastic audio right out of the camera, and if the Mic 2 fails to connect it will still record internal audio which in some cases actually sounds better. So for slow trail rides most of the time now I don’t even use the Mic 2.
