Captain’s Speech – End of Season Banquet
Good evening everyone,
First, I want to say how grateful I am to stand here tonight as your captain. This season has been an incredible journey—full of hard work, challenges, and moments we’ll never forget.
To my teammates—you are my brothers. Every practice, every game, we pushed each other to be better. We held each other accountable, lifted each other up, and fought side by side, no matter the score. That’s what makes a team great—not just talent, but heart. Nothing motivated the boys more than a good old Carlos Carillo speech but Unfortunately, our good friend Carlos is not with us tonight as he is on trial with the Xolos academy right now as he has been for about 3 months. My favorite memories with the boys had to be the bus rides back from games, team bonding, and meeting Davi for the first time.
To our coaches—thank you for your dedication and for believing in us.
To our families and supporters—your unwavering encouragement means the world. From the early morning practices to the late-night games, from the wins to the tough losses, you’ve been there through it all. Thank you for standing behind us every step of the way.
This season was filled with highs and lows, but every challenge made us stronger. We didn’t just grow as players—we grew as a family. No matter what the scoreboard said, we never backed down. We kept fighting, and that’s what defines us.
To our seniors—thank you for your leadership and legacy. You all have truly shown us what it takes to compete and fight for your brothers beside you. You’ve set the standard, and we’ll do our best to carry it forward.
Before I finish my speech I would like to dedicate every win and every hard-fought battle to our brother Alex Seagal who is no longer with us. May he forever rest in peace and may we continue to spread his light and positivity every day.
So tonight, let’s celebrate the hard work, the memories, and the brotherhood that makes this team special.
