Despite only appearing in one film, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s character Major Alan "Dutch" Schaefer, is the heart and soul of the Predator franchise. Undoubtedly, Dutch is one of the strongest, most morally sound characters the franchise has seen. Even though his journey ends in the first film, a video game later reveals tapes voiced by Arnold himself that highlight Dutch’s journey after the events of the 1987 film, and maybe that wasn’t enough for the fans, but it gave them some kind of closure when it came to Dutch’s character arc.
