https://getconnectedmedia.com - Is it easy to install a Sinope smart light switch? Well, it depends. If you already have one of their Zigbee 3.0 smart hubs, then you are already part of the way there. But what about the electrical things you have to consider?

This video shows you how we installed a Zigbee compatible Smart Light Switch from a Canadian company called Sinope. While the app and pairing process is fairly straightforward, the actual electrical work can be quite daunting for many people, even for willing and potentially able users. We're showing you exactly what we did to get this switch up and running, from opening up the wall panel to pairing it with the Sinope app and then to Google Home.

While the process was fairly basic, we opened up live electrical panels and worked with live electricity. If any of this concerns you at all, it is best to contact an electrician.
