So I have done a video on the Gold Rat River Sluice Forward Classifier & how it looks/works when shovelling straight into the sluice.
The forward classifier is the aluminium plate with the holes in it.
It comes in 2 pieces ( the Plate with the holes & the top pice to bush the rocks up & off the side ).
You do need to place a rock on the back of it, as the water pressure can push it back wards.
Or you can use bolts to hold in place ( I have not done that yet ). The back plate comes with slots cut, ether side.
Any way it’s an interesting watch on how the water does your work for you.
I am liking the shovelling the gravel into the sluice & the river does your work for you. you just need to keep on digging.
