Pakistan’s Muzaffar Khan claimed the Arabian Sea Title Belt, knocking out his opponent Ahmad Samir #Dawrani of Afghanistan in the fifth round of the 10-round high-voltage super welter bout at the Liaquat Gymnasium of Pakistan Sports Complex Islamabad on 22nd of January 2022, Saturday.
PPBL chairman retired Gen Ehsan-ul-Haq said, “The aim of the PPBL is to push amateur boxers in the country towards professional boxing and the initiative is supported by the World Boxing Council (WBC). PPBL has worked hard to transform boxing in Pakistan and has signed agreements with international bodies, trainers, coaches and promoters in the process.”
PPBL president Syed Nauman Shah said, “Signing of an agreement with Mark Lodge as head coach PPBL was a mile stone in the process of it. Mark’s arrival to the country during the inaugural season of the PPBL boosted the event. He trained Pakistani boxer, who stood as winner of WBC Arabian Sea Title Belt. PPBL ensured to provide international standards of training and event. Arrival of all international personalities was a clear indication of the strategy at PPBL.”
Mark Lodge British Champion 1994 – 1995, European Middleweight Champion 1995 – 1998, Intercontinental Champion 1999 – 2001, ABA Southern area Boxing tilte 1997 and now he is a world renowned coach.

The event was joined by the well renowned names of the world of boxing such as Hyenk Pavel from Czech Republic, Gonzalez Fernandez from Spain, Juan Carlos from Maxico, Hector Humberto from Panema, Luciano Planas from Spain as technical staff along with Peter McDonagh from Ireland as advisor PPBL for this specific event,” Said Umer Toor Director PPBL.
