Silla Art Exhibition Hall consists of the Buddhist Art Gallery, Hwangnyongsa Temple Gallery, and the Kukeun Memorial Gallery. People of Silla believed that their land was the land of Buddha, and built a significant number of temples and pagodas in the royal capital as well as on Namsan Mountain in
Gyeongju. The most notable ones include the Maitreya Buddha Triad moved from Jangchanggol Valley on Namsan Mountain, the Bhaisajyaguru Buddha from Baengnyulsa Temple, and the curved ridge-end roof tile found in the Hwangnyongsa Temple site, among others.
